Nursery Lead Helper: Casey Thomas
The nursery and toddler care is a place where parents can leave their children in a safe place with workers who truly have a heart for children.  This allows parents to participate in corporate worship with other believers without interruptions, and allows for your full attention to be placed on the service and your spiritual growth.  Also, if  you choose to take your children into the worship service the nursery can be a place to simply to take care of the child’s personal needs allowing for privacy and limited interruption.  In the nursery, we will introduce Jesus as God’s Son and our best friend through Bible stories, music, and play time. The nursery is located on the first floor adjacent to the church office.

In our toddler area, your little one will discover the love of Jesus, the importance of kindness, and learn to love others. Through a combination of structured learning, music, and imaginative play your toddler will have fun while learning the basics of faith, love, and God. Our goal is to make coming to church exciting and something our child looks forward to week after week. The toddler class is located in room 05 on the second floor.

The Grace Children’s church is designed for children ages 5 to 9. Through exploring the “Bible Fun” curriculum, your child will learn the importance of corporate worship, Bible reading, and prayer at an age-appropriate level. This is a place where they are equipped with prayer, reading God’s Word, knowing who they are in Christ, and shown that God has a purpose and a plan for their lives.  Our goal is to provide a loving place full of fun and energy where kids want to come to church to hear about how awesome God is! Children’s church is located in room 05 on the second floor.

The Little Disciples classes are divided up into two age groups. Children ages 0-2 are located in the Nursery while Children ages 2-4 are located in room 04 on the second floor. Our Little Disciples are the heartbeat of our church. Just as on Sunday’s the intent is to allow parents the opportunity to leave their children in a safe place while taking part in corporate worship.  Understanding the limited abilities of children this age, the purpose of Little Disciples is to allow children to experience interaction with children their own age and begin to establish a sense of their developing social skills. Along with social skills development, children ages 2-4 are presented a basic introduction to Jesus and the teachings of the Bible.

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him.  All parts of TeamKiD-Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation-connect to teach life lessons to kids.  TeamKIDS is designed for children to do more than memorize Scripture.  It helps children understand what the verses memorize mean because all parts of the TeamKID meeting focus on one Bible message.  The noncompetitive games, Bible Story, memory verse, missions, refreshments, and conclusion all contribute to help children understand and apply God’s Word to their lives. TeamKIDS is located in room 05 on the second floor on Wednesday Evenings.

The mission statement of our youth group is to reach student aged people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to foster community, accountability, and friendship among His people. Understanding we have been called to a Ministry of Reconciliation (11 Cor. 5:17-18) we desire to serve the community beyond the walls of our church building and to show the love of Christ to the community around us. Though we enjoy fellowship and events thought of as “typical” to youth groups our main purpose is to put actions to words and for our student aged church to live the love of Christ in their homes, in their schools, and in their communities. Student worship comes together on Wednesday Evenings and depending on the evenings events meet in room 01 on the second floor or in the church Fellowship Hall.
